For Wedgwood’s Vera Wang ‘Castillon’ dinnerware, Vera offers the modernist a distinctive, understated design, using simple bands of gold and grey colour, in an asymmetrical offset that subtly shifts with each piece in the place setting.

Vera’s vision for Castillon was formed in her New York offices, where she sketched out templates of plates and bowls of all sizes. She then went about placing the bands, comparing the proportion and relationship of each piece in the setting, with the idea of each rim band complementing the other as a set.
Negative white space, and a hallmark of modernist design draws the eye to the bold color blocking of the two-tone rim.
The Vera Castillon 4-Piece setting includes a dinner plate, salad plate, cereal bowl and mug, with additional pieces and accessories.
