Luxe Travel List | Sumptuous Seychelles
This month’s ‘Luxe Travel List’ takes you to the stunning, rugged and romantic Seychelles. We take a look at the refurbished Constance Lemuria, an old time Luxe Diary favourite, the classically sumptuous Six Senses Zil Pasyon and the discretely luxurious and private Fregate Private Island.
Whatever your Seychelles travel plans are this early summer, we have your inspiration right here!
Constance Lemuria | Seychelles
The Constance Lemuria, sister hotel of Le Prince Maurice, one of The Luxe Diary’s favourite hotels (and included in the April Mauritius #LuxeList) is nestled on the northwest shore of the island of Praslin. Unique to the Seychelles, the Lemuria is an exclusive resort with its own 18-hole championship golf course.
Renovated in 2016, the Constance Lemuria resonates luxury and embraces a modern approach to design, skillfully blending luxury and comfort in harmony with the carefully preserved natural beauty of the environment.
Materials such as wood, stone, pink granite, marble and thatch palm have been beautifully used to create a modern yet warm feel at Constance Lémuria.
Seychellois’ flavours can be savoured in all the restaurants and bars of the hotel – the warmth can be felt in all the suites and villas.
Enjoy elegant spacious suites and villas or unwind in swimming pools that appear to be crafted by nature. You can also indulge in fine food and customised spa treatments.
Fully trained coordinators at the Constance Kids Club will lead your children to wonderful island exploration trips, culinary activities, scavenger hunts and more.

Six Senses Zil Pasyon | Seychelles
Six Senses Zil Pasyon is located on Félicité, a private island where massive granite rocks and white sand beaches create an air of drama and beauty. With perpetual summer all year round, the island is ideally located outside the cyclone belt just 30 nautical miles northeast of the Seychelles International Airport.
Created with the renowned Six Senses flair, the resort in Seychelles is a very personal destination that embraces nature while offering every creature comfort. Its 30 pool villas offer an oasis of serenity encircled by the Indian Ocean.
Offering exceptional sensory experiences due to the perfect synergy of its magical oceanfront location and sophisticated island design, Six Senses Spa Zil Pasyon features five double treatment villas that reflect the island’s eco-system, colors, textures and themes. The elevated saltwater pool with sundeck, yoga and meditation pavilion enhance personal journeys.
The spa’s wide range of holistic wellness, rejuvenation, local and African inspired treatments are designed around the natural giving properties of the island’s fauna and flora and its eco-system. There’s an extensive menu of signature therapies plus Six Senses Integrated Wellness.
Dining and drinks at Six Senses Zil Pasyon run the gambit of relaxed sophistication and memorable experiences. There is a choice of several restaurants and bars with much of the produce coming from the on-site organic garden and the surrounding islands.

Fregate Private Island | Seychelles
A mysterious, paradise island located just 4° south of the equator, Fregate Island Private stretches ten kilometres of pure sustainable luxury.
Historically known as a base for pirates, today the island is a proud testament to conservation with over 75% of what is consumed on the island being grown right there, and growing over 100,000 new trees on the island over the past 15 years.
Home to the second largest population of free-roaming, giant Aldabra tortoises in the Seychelles, the island now has close to 3,000 on property- bred tortoises. A haven for wildlife conservation, the sandy beaches of this stunning island also provide a vital and rare nesting habitat for two species of sea turtles: the critically endangered Hawksbill Turtle and the endangered Green Turtle.
The property is also a sanctuary for birds, boasting over 100 tropical birds with over 4 species brought back from the brink of extinction including the Seychelles magpie Robin whose numbers now rise to over 145 from 14 individuals in 1970.
