Constance Le Prince Maurice | Mauritius

Constance Le Prince Maurice holds a very special place in The Luxe Diary’s heart as this is where is our Editor was lucky enough to honeymoon some almost 10 years ago.

Designed by architectural mastermind Jean Marc Eynaud and designer David Edwards, Constance Le Prince Maurice is where style, space and architectural designs meet to create the perfect hotel lifestyle. Designed to ensure guests feel energised and inspired by Feng Shui principles, Le Prince Maurice projects a sense of harmony throughout the resort.

Peaceful by day, the hotel is amidst lush tropical greenery. The infinity pool and natural reserves add to the décor by instilling a sense of tranquillity. Picturesque at night, the structure of the hotel is enhanced by warm lights positioned to harmonise with the environment.

Le Prince Maurice is the ultimate romantic hideaway with stunning architectural design in a super lush and luxurious setting. But beyond its architecture, interior design, facilities and luxurious amenities, Le Prince Maurice offers an exceptional half-board experience with a choice of three restaurants: its Asian themed restaurant, the ‘Archipel’ where beautifully crafted food is served in an elegant setting with views out across the beach on the one side and to the  infinity pool on the other, or, for a showstopping experience, Le Barachois. Take a stroll down the lantern-lit pontoon leading through the mangroves to the romantic seclusion of Le Barachois where you can enjoy a candlelit feast of authentic Indian Ocean flavours as you float above calm waters, on one of the restaurant’s 5 floating decks.

Hidden behind an impressive carriage entrance door made of oak and concealed within an old coconut grove bordering the water’s edge, lies one of the best kept secrets of Mauritius.
