Hailed as the region’s homegrown pioneering music and art festival, Groove On The Grass promises yet another electrifying day & night of renowned artists, activities, food trucks and inspiring art installations. The outdoor festival will also feature Acro-yoga, Hula Hoop dancing and other art expressions.
The festival showcases local artists and creative talents who display and sell their unique products at the pop-up stalls during the event. Music aficionados can experience live music and immerse in art and culture amidst the tranquil settings of the Emirates Golf Club on Friday, 23rd February, from 17.00 onwards.
The lineup of this year’s first edition was revealed last week with Grammy-nominated musician and producer, Bonobo as the headline artist who would be accompanied by his eight-piece band. British duo Simian Mobile Disco, DJ and Producer George Fitzgerald and Electronic Producer Barnt also join the impressive line-up along with seven Dubai-based artists.
Now in its sixth year, Groove On The Grass continues to grow and attracts over 4000 fans from across the GCC. With a fresh and magnetic energy, the festival is known for its ‘No Rules’ policy with respect to ‘dress-code’ and ‘couples-only entry’.
Groove on the Grass Dubai has been highlighted by Dubai Calendar & Emirates Airline as the pulse of the creative music & arts community in the UAE. The Emirates Golf Club is the first leg of the tour which will be followed by Beirut on Saturday, February 24th at The Warehouse – Grand Factory.
