Gaucho DIFC is a fantastic midweek business lunch spot – and not just for the best Argentinian steak. We’re here to tell you why.
Gaucho Launches New Business Lunch Menu | Review
Located at the heart of DIFC where international business meets contemporary art, Gaucho’s style is modern city chic with its super high ceilings, dramatic mid level mezzanine and vaulted ceiling. It’s ‘Beads & Buckle’ hanging lights project subtle reflections and highlights across the beautiful volumes the restaurant occupies.
The classic style is broken up by Gaucho’s signature cowhide, a strong reminder of Gaucho’s ethos and origins – the Argentinian pampas.
In terms of interiors, Gaucho DIFC really has to be one of Dubai’s best dining rooms. With the added bonus of natural light cutting across the room as you dine by day, the Gaucho DIFC business lunch is an experience we highly recommend.
The Food.
Gaucho’s signature style combines traditional Argentinian specialties with cutting edge South American influences and contemporary flair. Gaucho’s new business lunch set up is smart and highlights the best of Gaucho’s repertoire.
At an equally smart price point, the format is a choice of two starters and one main course with the option of a dessert add-on.
The friendly wait staff begin by bringing a delicious light beetroot soup and homemade breads to cleanse the palate. Our choice of starters includes the perfectly glazed braised beef back ribs caramelised with hoisin and chilli orange sauce and the smoked burrata and fig salad basil.
You can really taste the quality of the ingredients – the burrata good enough to rival its LPM counterpart, which is saying a lot.
For starters we also try the shrimp ‘Chicharron‘ which we find exceptional and a gourmet truffle mac ‘n’ cheese – the ultimate luxury comfort food.
For mains we choose the rib-eye cooked to chef’s perfect recommendation, with sides of both mash potato and sweet potato fries which are equally delicious.
We also love the black truffle risotto: so creamy, rich and truffle flavoured – it has to be one of the best risotto’s Dubai has on its gourmet palette.
For dessert, we say take a few minutes longer to linger over dulce de leche cheese cake, a Gaucho favourite with its perfect cheesecake base and tangy passion fruit coulis.
Or try the Sizzling brownie or Pionono with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream. But do not leave without trying one of them!
