Velaa Private Island | Maldives
Nestled within the pristine Noonu Atoll, Velaa Private Island is the realisation of the Owner’s dream to create a ‘beyond luxury’ exclusive boutique hideaway in the Maldives, and takes exclusivity and privacy to the next level with facilities and services that go beyond traditional luxury resorts.
Velaa means ‘Turtle Island’ in the local language – named after the generations of sea turtles that return to the island to nest and hatch. Designed by award-winning Czech architect Petr Kolar as an elegant fusion of Maldivian culture with contemporary luxury, the island’s exclusive over-water villas are constructed to resemble the head of a turtle, with the island forming the body. The resort comprises 47 ultra private villas and residences, including the Romantic Pool Residence which can only be reached by boat and offers the utmost privacy and romance. With a private gym and spa, there’s little reason to leave.
Velaa’s Exclusive Valentine’s Package includes complimentary use of the Velaa Private SeaPlane Lounge on arrival and departure, return shared seaplane transfer for two, Romantic Valentine’s Dinner including one bouquet of roses and a bottle of Rose Champagne, a Couple Spa Treatment for 60 minutes, complimentary use of snorkeling equipment and non-motorised watersports and 24/7 Butler Service, starting from $13,493USD for a minimum of 4 nights in a Beach Pool Villa, valid from 10th – 20th February.
