Why fix what isn’t broken? This season, DVF’s creative director, Jonathan Saunders, looked for new ways to approach the brand’s retro-infused heritage. DVF found its calling card in ’70s-era bohemian-esque glamour, and Saunders is looking for new ways to channel that mood into minidresses, pencil skirts, jumpsuits and more. The belted dresses, swirling hues and billowing sleeves did feel vintage; but, at the same time, they embodied a contemporary vision of femininity.
