La Cantine du Faubourg Celebrates its 1st Anniversary in Dubai

La Cantine du Faubourg— the celebrated Parisian institution which combines food, lights, music, video and art—celebrated its first anniversary in Dubai this week, marking a year since its opening in April 2015. For the occasion, some of the UAE’s most prominent guests enjoyed a live performance from international singer Selah Sue.

Entering via a majestic ‘gold carpet’ up the stairs of La Cantine du Faubourg, between the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, guests were welcomed by an orchestra of violinists before walking through a bower of thousands of white flowers, candles, and butterflies.

La Cantine du Faubourg’s terrace offered view of the city’s skyline while the venue’s in-house DJ, complementing Selah Sue’s set, kept well-heeled guests on the dancefloor for hours.

The La Cantine du Faubourg family “wowed” one year in the making of the lifestyle destination restaurant, with generous signature canapés, caviar and overflow of bubbles… this is how they say “merci” to all who have participated in writing their story.
