Widely reputed as one of the region’s premium sporting events, the Beach Polo Cup Dubai 2017 presented by Nissan is returning to Skydive Dubai on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 December so prepare to dig out your finest attire and take to the arena with Dubai’s most stylish socialites for a weekend of sport, live music, fire shows and more.
Held for the third consecutive year under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, four competing teams of both local and international polo players will battle it out for the much-coveted trophy on the purpose-built Beach Polo arena. Party people should snap up the extended field-facing seats in the spectacular Shams zone for AED60, while those after a more exclusive experience can splash out on an AED700 ticket for the VIP Majlis Zone that includes entry to the event, high table seating and unlimited F&B.
It’s not all chukkas, ponies and points, though – Beach Polo Cup Dubai is throwing one serious party all weekend long with DJs, stunt shows, live music, an after party and more. Upping the ante with 360° Dubai’s resident DJs partaking in a one-on-one DJ battle, DJ Miss Sophie and DJ CN Williams promise to take the arena by storm both Thursday and Friday with their ground-breaking house music vibes. Spinning popular club classics that promise to keep guests on their feet all night long, Friday will also see singer Josh McCarthey swoon the crowd with his smooth tunes, while Carmen and the Black T’s will be busting out some rock, reggae and pop sounds.
And it doesn’t stop there – make sure you don’t miss out on the live horse stunt spectacle and the Team Z7 horse dance and dressage show that will be more impressive than ever.
