5 Best Weekend Activities to do with your Dog in Dubai
As the weather starts to cool down and we head into autumn, our furry friends can finally venture out from the safety of A/C for some fun. So, whether that’s kayaking on The Palm, frolicking at Dogventure HQ, going for a hike or enjoying the mangrove beaches, we have you covered with the best things to do with your dog in Dubai!

1. Explore Dogventure HQ
Billed as the ‘one stop shop’ for pets, Dogventure HQ encourages your four-legged friend to live their best life. As well as being a daycare and boarding facility, they also offer grooming, training, rehab and veterinary services, but it’s their specially organized events that’s the real treat on offer here. Think cinema nights, dog pool parties, kayaking trips and sound healing therapy sessions. Be quick to book though, these outings sell out in minutes.
2. Kayaking on the Palm
Head to the Palm and get kayaking with you pooch with Blue Safari Water Sports in one of the most iconic places in Dubai. Blue Safari allow you to kayak, sightsee, stand-up paddle or simply enjoy the beach with your fur babies!

3. Go for A Hike

Leave just before sunrise to explore epic mountain surroundings with your best friend by your side. There are some great easy to intermediate hikes on offer in Fujairah – Wadi Sulfur (think fun bouldering and lots of cool pools to wade through) and Khorfakkan – Al Rabi Tower (many different routes to take and lots of steps) or stay a bit closer to home and hike up to the Hatta sign. If you are really up for a challenge though, why not set your sights on Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, where you can hike the rocky terrain together and enjoy the stunning views on offer.
4. Hit Up One Of The Many Dog Parks

Let your dog enjoy some off-leash time and explore one of the many different dog parks popping up within established communities throughout Dubai. A few of our fave haunts include parks in The Greens, Dubai Hills Estate, JBR and JLT, but for a real treat, head to BarkPark Dubai, located in Al Awir. As well as secluded areas for dogs to socialize and relax, there are obstacle courses and a paddling pool for them to play in too.
5. Run Along The Sand
Enjoy some quality family time together at one of Dubai’s pet-friendly beaches. There are now designated zones at Palm West Beach, Dubai Islands Beach and Golden Tulip, Al Jazira in Ghantoot where you can throw back some sundowners while your dog buries their snout in the golden sands. If, however, you want to take your dog swimming, you can head to Dubai Islands to the dog swimming beach or you can drive out to Kite Beach Center in Umm al Quwain, where you’ll find a sophisticated beach club offering, and some well organized water activities you can all take part in.
