10th Edition of Art Dubai Opens 16-19 March 2016
The tenth edition of
Art Dubai, the leading art fair in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, opens on 16 March 2016 and runs until 19 March 2016. Taking place at
Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, this year is the largest and most diverse fair line-up to date with new galleries exhibiting in the Contemporary and Modern halls. The fair will host ambitious new projects and commissions as well as the largest not for profit educational programming of any international art fair worldwide. The fair heralds the return of the highly anticipated
Global Art Forum, uniting some of the world’s greatest thinkers at Art Dubai 2016.
Art Dubai is held under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Rule of Dubai. Art Dubai is held in partnership with

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is a strategic partner of Art Dubai, and along with
Dubai Design District (d3), supports the fair’s year-round education programme.
Art Dubai presents an extensive line-up of international and local galleries across the Contemporary and Modern Gallery halls with 76 galleries from 35 countries in Art Dubai Contemporary and 13 galleries from 9 countries in Art Dubai Modern.
The Sheikha Manal
Little Artists Program held under the patronage of wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Preseidential Affairs, Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of UAE Gender Balance Council, President of Dubai Women Establishment returns to Art Dubai again this year. Art Dubai’s not-for-profit program includes workshops, publications and discovery tours for children and teenagers, created especially for the fair by international and UAE-based artists and designed to provide access to skills and ideas for UAE-based children and teenagers aged 5-17 with the long-term aim of encouraging young people to get involved and excel in the arts. The Royal College of Art’s RCA Secret Dubai also returns to Art Dubai this year. RCA Secret Dubai is an exhibition and sale of original postcard-sized artworks by regional and internationally acclaimed artists and designers, plus up-and-coming graduates from the Royal College of Art.
Taking place in two venues at Alserkal Avenue and Art Dubai, it’s a chance to get your hands on original works of art for a small price, while supporting students at a formative time in their careers. Each postcard in RCA Secret Dubai is signed only on the back, so collectors don’t know the identity of the artists until they have made their purchases.
